We had a fun weekend celebrating Aja's 12th birthday (a few weekends ago). Aja's cousin, Taylor and his mom, Sandy came to visit from Colorado. We went to Disneyland and Six Flags Magic Mountain. I cooked a lasagna dinner and had Teena, Garrett, Tyler and Lisa join us on Saturday. It was lots of fun! Aja wanted her favorite cake...pineapple upside down (recipe courtesy from her Nana). Yummy! It was wonderful to have both sides of the family here at the same time (it's rare because Shawn's entire family lives in Colorado).
